Visit to Botanical Gardens April 2007

I was there on Saturday with Juan. We went and had a look at some of the plants and trees and other parts of the garden.

This is one of the monkey puzzle trees that Juan took a photo of.

This is another monkey puzzle tree.

This is the third one. What I like about them is their branches are very spiky and sharp. That's why monkeys and other animals want to climb them.

This is a view of the waterfall from the Chinese bridge where it was so lovely and peaceful.

This is the late Queen Mother's garden shed. There is a plaque in the middle of its frame. As you can see there is shell and marble all over.

This is the ceiling in the Queen Mother's House at the Botanic Gardens

This is the inside of the house. It is so nice and lovely with all the nice stones on it.

This is a nice rhododendron bush.

This is a bush that is made out of silver paper. It looks as if it is a piece of art which it is and very nice too.

When Juan and I came out of the Queen Mothers house we were looking at all the organisations she was involved with and one was the THISTLE FOUNDATION and another the Trefoil Guild.
