St Andrews & Edinburgh Lourdes Pilgrimage 2006

This was the mass down at the Grotto which was taken by the Cardinal.

This is one of the helpers who is 12 years old and likes to help the sick and disabled people.

This is at one of the Church services that Cardinal O'Brien took at the Grotto outside at a mass he was giving.

We were told to pray for all the sick and homeless in the world and our brothers, sisters and our loved ones.

This is the opening mass for the pilgrims which was held down at the Grotto. It was very hot.

This is one of the procession which I took a part in. It was very good and very hot. There were a lot of helpers from England who were from Christchurch.

This is the Cardinal just after mass when he was walking amongst the people.

Here are some of the Christchurch helpers, the doctor and the helpers from other Catholic Churches in Edinburgh.

This is the famous Church. Inside it is so remarkable with all the different paintings even on the ceiling. It was a wonderful service. All the ministers were taking part too.

This is the music group. The girl that is playing the flute also plays football for the Scottish woman's team. There at the side is a girl from Christchurch.

This is the opening prayer at the Grotto with the Cardinal. It was a hot day.
