Tattoo 2005 |
This is a day that I went to Firrhill Day Centre and went over to Redford barracks to watch all the soldiers rehearsing for the tattoo. This was them at the beginning of the show and it was a very dull day and cold. |
These are all the young boys from the Navy School of motorcycling. The youngest wee boy was four years old. It was very good and how brave they were on their bikes to do all these tricks. |
This is a few sailors marching at the end of the finale with the rest of the pipers. |
Here are all the Bands coming down the parade ground at their rehearsal to make it look as if they were coming out of Edinburgh Castle at the finale of the show. |
These are the king of Norway's soldiers. The youngest soldier was just 18 years of age. |
These are all the Norwegian soldiers marching and doing their drill and firing their rifles. |
On the right is the famous Cossack dancing display.
On the left are the South African Marines ready to do a dance. It was very good as a lot of the soldiers were so fat but very flexible. They were so good to us and gave us a nice wave to say good luck. |
This is the Canadian Brass band on the left.

These are the Navy Girls giving a nice performance of their dancing. |
This is a bunch of terrorists trying to steal the Crown Jewels. Then the marines are called in to save everything. |
